Why you should choose Bernafon SpiraFlex Domes
There are five different types of Bernafon Domes. The choice of dome changes the sound properties.
Open Domes:
The open domes are suitable for you who do not want an enclosed feeling in the ear canal and occlusion. The domes therefore ensure great ventilation in the ear canal. Used for light - moderate amplifying needs.
Closed domes with small or large ventilation:
The closed domes provide a more intense sound experience as they close off the ear more. It also effectively prevents the hearing aids from whistling, as amplified sounds cannot escape from the ear canal. The closed domes have a ventilating effect, as they are equipped with one or two ventilation holes depending on whether you want large or small ventilation. You will therefore experience a free and ventilating feeling and an intense sound experience. Mostly used for moderate - severe hearing loss or where bass amplification is a priority.
Tulip domes:
The tulip dome has an increasingly pointed shape, and therefore has properties from both the closed and open dome. It provides a ventilating effect in the ear canal while you receive a more intense sound experience.
Power domes:
The power dome provides the most intense sound experience. It is made with two closures that ensure a good fit and completely eliminate other sounds. The power dome is the least ventilating dome and therefore the dome with the most occluded feeling.
