Why you should choose Oticon Minifit Domes
Oticon Minifit Domes are made of soft material and adapt to your ear. The soft slats ensure a perfect fit in the ear canals, and the ventilation holes ensure that your ears and ear canal 'get air'. You, therefore, get an individual fit and avoid a stuffy feeling in the ear canal by using Oticon Minifit Domes.
You can easily switch between the domes you want to use. They are easily clicked on and off and you can therefore change domes depending on what listening situation you are in.
There are three types of domes:
Bass domes as shown here - available in a version with both one and two ventilation ducts - the more ventilation the less closed feeling, but in return you also lose a bit of the dynamics in the soundscape.
The open domes create an extra ventilating effect. The domes sit at the outer edge of the ear canal, and the ventilation holes allow the ear canal to 'breathe'. The open domes are 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm in diameter, respectively.
The latest version is power domes that provide an extra intense sound experience. Power domes are closed dome with two membranes.
The audio experience changes depending on the type of dome you choose.
