 The Oticon SmartCharger is the brand-new portable charging solution for newer Oticon MiniRITE R models (see the compatibility list for further information). 

You can use this charging solution at home as well as when you are on the go. You place your hearing aids in the charger at night and the next morning you take them out of the charger and put them in. 

The built-in rechargeables lithium-ion battery makes it possible to use SmartCharger as a power bank when you don’t have access to a power source. With the built-in power bank, you have enough power for three whole charges of a set of rechargeable hearing aids. Furthermore, it is practical for storing and drying of the hearing aids which makes it indispensable on an active weekend trip.

Description

Why to choose the Oticon SmartCharger 

This SmartCharger can recharge your hearing aids when connected to a power source and thereby it also functions as a table charger that can be brought along. The charger has a removable cord so when the power bank is fully charged you can just take it with you like that and not worry about the cord. 

The top cover of the charger protects your hearing aids and the magnetic function in the charger makes sure the hearing aids are kept in place. This way you can easily take the charger with you with the hearing aids inside for fast charging. 

The hearing aids switch off when placed in the charger and automatically switch on again when you take them out of the charger. A small LED-diode on the back of the SmartCharger makes it easy for you to see the charging status: It charges when you see the orange light and when it is fully charged it will be green. 

There are three full charges when the chargers’ power bank is fully charged. It takes four hours to charge the power bank and eight hours for the hearing aids and the power bank. 

If the hearing aids are completely discharged the usual charging times are as follows: 

  • 3 hours = Fully charged 
  • 1 hour = 50% charged 
  • 30 minutes = 25% charged
