QuickGuard is a wax filter for in-ear devices from Signia, Rexton and Siemens hearing aids - also called IIC or CIC. The filter is also used for RIC devices with molded earpieces that enclose the hearing aid's external speaker. The QuickGuard filter is located at the audio output on the molded in-ear hearing aid or on the molded earplug and provides optimal protection against foreign objects.
The filter is set on a tool, so it is easy to replace the filter. One end is used to remove the old filter, after which you insert the new filter into your hearing aid with the other end.
The QuickGuard filter replaces HF4 filters from Signia. This means that if you have previously used HF4 filters, you must use QuickGuard in the future - it is easy to switch from HF4 to QuickGuard, the only difference is that QuickGuard is not color marked for the right and left ear respectively, so you can use freely QuickGuard for both ears.
