Oticon Waxstop is made of a protective material that prevents harmful particles such as dirt and moisture from entering your hearing aid. Your hearing aid is thus protected by the wax filter, reducing the need for repairs and extending its lifespan. With Oticon Waxstop, you save both time and money. To achieve optimal effectiveness, the filters should be replaced every four weeks.

Replacing the Waxstop filter is easy. The filters are mounted on a tool for removing the used filter. The new filter is placed at the opposite end of the tool and easily inserted right after removing the old one. Oticon Waxstop is used for both in-ear devices and hearing aids with external receivers and is compatible with several different hearing aids from Oticon.

How to replace Oticon WaxStop wax filter:

  1. Take out a WaxStop from the box. The tool has two ends, one with a new filter and one with a tool to remove the filter.
  2. Insert the tool into the sound outlet of the device.
  3. Slowly pull out the used WaxStop filter while holding it straight.
  4. Rotate the tool 180 degrees.
  5. Install the new filter into the sound outlet and gently remove the tool.
  6. Dispose of the used tool - do not reuse it.
