It also contributes to the environmental friendliness that the batteries themselves have a high energy density, which is the reason for the long operating time.

Important info regarding zinc-air batteries: 

Zinc-air batteries are activated when the safety foil is removed. Make sure there is no adhesive residue blocking the holes in the battery cover. 

 

In order for the battery to build up its voltage optimally, you must wait approx. 1 to 2 minutes after removing the foil before inserting the battery into the hearing aid. Once the film is removed and the battery is activated, insert it into the hearing aid immediately, otherwise it will be used up without being connected to a hearing aid. 

 

Good tips regarding batteries 

Store the batteries in the original packaging. 

Always store the batteries at room temperature, not in the refrigerator. 

Do not remove the colored label until you need the battery. 

Never keep the batteries loose in your pocket - and make sure that the batteries do not come into contact with metal objects. 

Always dispose of batteries in an environmentally friendly manner. 

Never attempt to recharge the batteries.
